Featuring Actor/Comedian: Katy McEwen

presenting “How Free is Your Speech”

Katy McEwen, Artistic Director of the Brave New Workshop, shares stories from the nation’s longest running satirical comedy theatre, discusses what it’s like to perform satire in the land of Minnesota Nice, and gets us up on our feet to find out exactly how free we are with our own speech. What did Dudley Riggs have in his espresso maker? How did the Moral Squad finally manage to shut the theatre down? What would you say if someone handed you a box full of fire ants? It’s a night of entertainment and fun you do not want to miss!
