LJ's 2d Annual Design Institute

We are spreading the word about a special event from Library Journal. If you are working on or planning a future library building project or renovation. If you are in the early stages of your project, in the pre-bond stage, or fundraising, we would like to invite you to join us for Library Journal's second Design Institute, a FREE one-day Seminar on architectural and interior design.

This year's invitation-only, Free event, focusing on Green Design, will be held December 11 at the Harold Washington Center Library , Chicago Public Library. Besides panels and presentations by a select group of architects and librarians, we'll have breakout sessions with individual architects.

Last year's event, highlighted in the May 15 Library By Design supplement to LJ (http://www.libraryjournal.com/article/CA6440926.html), was a huge success, bringing together architects, librarians, facilities directors, and others to reimagine elements of their own libraries and to share ideas with colleagues. More than 100 gathered together for the information-packed day.

For more information and to sign up, please visit us at www.libraryjournal.com/di (see last year's agenda at the bottom of the page).

Please sign up now to ensure your attendance. (If you are not currently planning a future project/renovation at this time, but are still interested, we can't guarantee you a seat for this event.) After your information is entered in the system we will send you a confirmation within 5-7 days.
