Library Postion Opening

The Science Museum of Minnesota is in opening a Teacher Resource Center that will include an extensive circulating collection of education materials for classroom use. For additional information, see http://www.smm.org/trc/
We are seeking a consultant librarian to serve immediately for 3-4 weeks who will:

1. Initiate the electronic catalog of materials including establishing a lexicon for non-print materials, accurate data entry for all items, and initial image processing.
2. Process circulating resources with RFID tags and storage containers
3. Assist in preparing the check-out station for operation
4. Assist in updating the website and acting as liaison with Science Museum web site managers
5. Conduct other assignments related to the TRC and Professional Development department as requested for the grand opening on October 24, 2007
